Pacific Air

Pacific Air - Duet In B Minor

"I've seen the way you look at me, every time it take you home"

Pacific Air my old friend. You look good. You sound great. How have you been? You're sure making it big out there in the world today. Does anyone call you Ko Ko anymore? Yeah I guess it's a name that doesn't work in today's google world. Hell I googled it and every old lady's pet poodle has a Ko Ko page. I guess I can see why you changed it. Brother Float is still my favorite spin of the year. Lose My Mind and Move are some quality tunes and now you have Duet In B Minor out. You're hot man. I love hearing you on the radio. For me you're the sound of 2013 and one of the best out this year. Thanks for stopping by. You keep on spinning brother and I can't wait to see what you have as a follow up to Stop Talking. I bet it's going to be great.

Jaymes Young

Jaymes Young - Moondust

"And there's nothing that I can't do"

This is a spin to the moon and back. Jaymes Young hits again with Moondust. I love it and him. We featured Darkstar back in June and that is a spin that keeps on giving. Now we have Moondust and I love it. Such passion. Such a talent. Jaymes is a star baby and I love listening to him. He takes you for a ride in an "out of this world" kind of way that leaves you wanting more. For me he has been a go to spin this summer and you can feel autumn in Moondust. This is his first album and I can't wait to hear what he has in store for us in the future. Definitely one to watch. Bring it Jaymes.

Ejecta

Ejecta - Afraid of the Dark

"You were somewhat unsurprised"

Ejecta has it. This is a ride. I am having a good time listening to Afraid of the Dark by Ejecta. It's a slow build to a big finish. Joel Ford along with Leanne Macomber have found a quality spin for us to enjoy. I love its beat, the electric synthesizer and Leanne's vocals. Kind of a early nineties mix but with a 21st century beat. Now that's a statement. I guess I feel something familiar with this spin but I know it's a new sound that producers like Joel are spinning for us lately. I tell you I love the fact so much of today's music is one guy with the right equipment dropping spins for us. It has revolutionized music and I can't wait to see where this leads us. Ejecta is sure to be one to lead the way.

Dustin Tebbutt

Dustin Tebbutt - The Breach

"You happened out the back door, laying bare this need"

Dustin Tebbutt is amazing. Look what blew in. The Breach has a Bon Iver feel and as I understand it Dustin found a place alone in the Scandinavian winter to drop this wonderful spin a la Bon-esk. I just showcased Birdy and her version of Skinny Love so I guess I'm still on a Bon Iver kick because this reminds me of Bon. Why not just spin Bon? Well he hasn't come out with anything for a while and maybe I will just to get this out of my system. Mean while I'm happy to spin for you this beautiful tune by Dustin. It's hot and I can't wait to hear more from him. This is a solid spin and I just love it.

Birdy

Birdy - Skinny Love

"Come on skinny love just last the year, pour a little salt we were never here"

Birdy shines with this Bon Iver cover. Skinny Love is one of the greatest and saddest songs I have ever heard. Bon's pain is as brilliant as Birdy's cover of this remarkable spin. I saw when you posted this and I knew it was over. Like a red flag I saw the sign of the demise of that post. No one posts this unless they are hurting and feel the end is near. Skinny Love has become a musical sign post for those of us capable of reading the sign. It's amazing how this one song speaks of our pain, our loss and our need to go on. I can't think of another spin that has become a cultural road marker like this one. It's sad but sometimes it's ok to just love the perfect pain of Skinny Love? Sing it Birdy. It's beautiful.

Alt-J

Alt-J - Something Good

"Make me forget about you for now"

This is incredible! Now there is no way you've missed Alt-J over the past year. How could you have not noticed this amazing band. Subtle and big at the same time is really difficult to pull off but Alt-J does just that with Something Good. Like you, I first fell in love with Tessellate. Did you have to go look it up like I did. Bet you did. They made us think and somehow that was fun and what an incredible spin. Well I just needed a little Alt-J fix today and Something Good was the perfect spin to fill that need. Man I don't need drugs I got a music monkey on my back.

Magic Man

Magic Man - You Are Here

Magic Man has one of the best albums of the year! I have been spinning this for a while and now I have the whole EP to share with you. I usually only share one spin at a time, but hey, Magic Man is sharing and I guess so will I. Give this a listen and then go buy it. I know I did. It's hot sweetheart and I just had to share. It's a gift from them to me to you. I like that. Everyone needs to share in this heavenly bliss. Texas is fantastic and Nova Scotia is brilliant! Hey we could all use a little bit more magic in our lives. Why not kick back and spin yourself some Magic Man. You're gonna love it!

Oliver Tank

Oliver Tank - Sound Of Silence feat. Fawn Myers

"And the vision that was planted in my brain, still remains, within the sound of silence"

I adore Oliver Tank. This young talent from Australia has been shooting spins out of the park since 2011. Embrace is one of my absolute favorite songs, ever, I Love You and Up All Night are unbelievably incredible and Last Night I Heard Everything In Slow Motion is simply a masterpiece of new music. This guy has more talent that anyone that has come around in a long time. I can't wait to hear more from him. This cover tune of Sound of Silence is one of the sweetest covers I have ever heard. So you see my love affair with Austrian music continues with Oliver Tank. Come on Oly it's time for you to put out some new spins.

Pylo

Pylo - Enemies

"Have you ever seen my love"

Now this is cool. Pylo have found something amazing with Enemies. It's a big sound with heart and rock. You can see them on a big Stadium stage with this one. They are going to be as big as their sound and I would put money on it. I love the bass in this powerful spin. It's a driving force along with those drums. I want to stand with you in the pitt when they hit that first guitar note that builds this spin to pure passion. I want you to be with me when they start rockin' this monster. I said it before and I will say it again. This is cool!

Joel Compass

Joel Compass - Back To Me

"Our little secret will bring you back to me"

Joel Compass I'm a big fan. I have been groovin' lately to this sweet spin by Joel Compass Back To Me. Astronaut by Joel is, I think, one of this years best spins and Fucked Up is a solid spin and a remarkable commentary on being a bad boy. Funny thing I didn't even know those last two songs where by the same UK crooner. Posted one here on My Noise, then the other, and only then did I notice they where by the same guy. Well make no mistake Joel has my attention now. He should have yours as well. This punter is hot.

Active Child

Active Child - Subtle (Featuring Mikky Ekko)

"Even when I'm gone away"

I love Active Child! Any guy who can make amazing music like this is a god in my eyes. Active Child, aka Pat Grossi, has been showing us love for awhile now and I am still hitting repeat on She Cut Me and Evening Ceremony. Just two tunes from an incredible body of work featured here on My Noise Spinning. Now Subtle takes us for a spin and I am loving this! All of his songs are so emotional. He is feeling ever word and every beat. I guess that's why I love him. I bet that's why everyone wants to play with him. I know I just want to hear more of him. WOW! What a great spin.

Vimes

Vimes - Celestial

"But it's all forgiven and done"

Bring this on! Vines has found there place in my heart with Celestial. It's a killer vibe with its electric beat and soulful lyrics. Reminds me of some spins from the early nineties but with more electric beat. This simple spin takes me for a ride and I don't want to get off. This is the music that is playing when you finally know everything is going to be ok. And it's something we can jump to. I hear these boys are from Germany. Good to see some killer sound coming from a beautiful place. Why am I obsessed with this? It's just that good!

TDeL2

TDeL2 - Fearless Youth

"Nothing left to show"

Sweet sound. Now here's a good ol' corn fed American for us to fall in love with. TDeL2, aka Tony DeLuca, has found a sound we can get behind with Fearless Youth. It's lovely, enchanting, and just beautiful. I am loving this. It's good to see an American out there and on My Noise Spinning. I have been so inraptured with acts from Australia and England lately I almost forgot where home is. And this is home. It's sweet, simple and well just lovely. Thanks for bringing me home Mr T. I needed this.

High Highs

High Highs - A Real Hero (College Cover)

"Back against the wall and odds with the strength of a will and a cause"

Well this is fun. High Highs reaches for the sky with a College & Electric Youth's A Real Hero and they do it just fine. It's wonderful. Another Australian band. I tell you I am going to go there and see why some of the best talent out today is coming from down under. I've just posted a few of them. There seems to be so much more. What's fun about this? Everything. The sound is right on, the harmonies kick butt, the guitars are beautiful and I love the drums. They hit it out of the park with this one. Hey, who wants to go to Australia with me?

Carousel

Carousel - Another Day

"Did you know that I could be everything you want and more"

You're gonna love this. I want a ride one again. A Carousel that is. But until I do I am happy to take a spin on Another Day by Carousel. Sweetheart this band is just wonderful. Here Now was my first spin around and I still absolutely love that song, Not Enough was a joy to take on this spinning Carousel, and Before You blew my sweet little mind. This band has it all, a quality sound, heavenly lyrics and a true place in today's music scene. Another Day is a beautiful song that keeps this Carousel spinning all night. Take a ride with me won't ya? You're gonna love this. I know I do.

Andy Bull

Andy Bull - Baby I Am Nobody Now

"I could be one in a million baby"

Lovin' this! Andy Bull has something special with Baby I Am Nobody Now. It's one about heart break but it's not a sad one. Why does that break have to be sad. This is a strong spin with its powerful lyrics backed up by some killer electric vibes. Another Australian bloke throwing down one hell of a spin. Man what is in the water down there that they keep tossin' out incredible talent like Andy Bull. Someday I'm ganna have to taste that water. Lovin' this!

Banks

Banks - Change

"Cut me to pieces, while you watch me"

Powerful! Nothing better that a song about girl finding herself and the strength to overcome the nonsense. After the fantastic Warm Water by Banks it is nice to hear her spin out another one with Change. This ones deep too. Why do beautiful girls put up with terrible relationships. I'm not a beautiful girl but I've been there, I've done that and I walked baby and so should you. If its bad it ain't gonna get any better. I hope you hear this and feel the strength coming through this amazing voice. Lead us Banks. You show us the way and we will follow.

Brolin

Brolin - Portland

"Sunshine you should waste your time better"

Another great track from Brolin. I am obsessed with Reykjavik. That is an amazing spin. So I went looking to see what else I could find from Brolin and there is was, like a gift, waiting for me, Portland is a better spin than Reykjavik. It's a groovy spin that is perfect for an Autumn afternoon dreaming about a summer beach. There's just a rich vibe about this that I keep hitting repeat. Man all this great music now days is going to put me in the poor house. How could I not own this terrific spin. Join me won't you in Brolin bliss.

STRFKR

STRFKR - While I'm Alive

"Keep on telling myself to live my life"

Hell ya! If you haven't heard STRFKR you are really missing out. These guys are brilliant. The name alone, STRFKR, has "I'm a bad ass" all over it. And they back it up with some really hot spins. I showcased Golden Light back in July and this is one band I could play all day long. While I'm Alive is as sweet as they come. Another winner for them and for us. If you're like me you're going to break that repeat button. This is hot!

George Ezra

George Ezra - Budapest

"It may be hard for you to stop and believe"

George Ezra is a shooting star baby. Young, handsome and so unbelievably talented. This young man is someone to keep an eye on because he has super written in the stars for him. Budapest is a fun little spin that reminds me of some old R&B singer with a guitar, a song and a street corner. I spun George Ezra's It's Just My Skin a while back. A deep dark spin that knows loss. It's nice to hear the light heart shine bright in Budapest. I tell you this guy is going to be as big as his voice. I'm rooting for you Jorge.

SOHN

SOHN - Lessons

"This time Id like to need you less"

I have no words. This spin by SOHN leaves me speechless. Lessons is electric but with a soul. How do you describe heaven? It's so complex with a R&B rift, electric beat and a understanding of life that can only be found through pain and sorrow. I want to make it better. I want to understand why. I want you to hear the complexity of living on this spin that only a heart that has been broken can share. Incredible spin here SOHN. WOW, I'm speechless.

Henrik B

Henrik B - Echoes

"I say it's alright"

Time to jump baby. Let get our butts up and moving because Henrik is spinning some amazing beats for us. Echoes doesn't stop. It's a flashing light, swallowed in foam, bouncing spin made for the dance floor. Your young so why are you holding back? Can't you feel that? Can't you hear that?  It's life baby and it wants us to jump! No work but the beat, no worries but the heat, no time to stop baby it's got us and we're going to pop. Get up and jump baby. I'll see you on the other side of this bliss. Jump!

Los Waves

Los Waves - Got A Feeling

"I know your waiting but there's so much to do, please don't stop dreamin''

Now this is a serious spin. Los Waves are not kidding and Got A Feeling is sure to tell us what it's all about. Man, where did this come from? It's like you've heard it before but at the same time you know this is so new you have to give it a spin. It's got it all, a rhythm that pounds, guitars that mean business, lyrics that haunt your soul and then some xylophone to tickle us into submission. Leave it to London to find a new sound. Love this!

Keep Shelly in Athens

Keep Shelly in Athens - Flyway

"I know I’ve got something to fight for, I know I’ve got, some things to sort"

What a driving beat, the rhythms are ridiculous on this spin Flyway from Keep Shelly in Athens. I completely love Recollection and this spin gives me that same warm felling in my tummy. Do you like it to? It's the drums I tell you. Sure it's probably some machine. Machines keep time better. But it's still a rhythm that drives me crazy. I can't wait to see what else Keep Shelly in Athens has in store for us. If its as good as this spin I'll be one happy boy.

Zola Jesus

Zola Jesus - Fall Back

"I would do anything to be the one with you, forever"

If you know Zola Jesus you know this is a little bit different that the normal sound you would usually find on a Zola spin. I am loving the simplicity though. It's filled with heart and Fall Back has a richness to it that I'm delighted to share with you. It's not with out Zola Jesus original style but rather a growth in that style that allows for this spin to take flight. I love it. I want to hold it in my hand, I want to catch it from the air and give it a little kiss. I want to let her know I will be right here for her and she need not worry. Wow, this spin makes me Prince Charming. How did that happen?

ASTR

ASTR - R U With Me

"As long as we got each other we can be so much better"

ASTR hits again with there latest sweet spin R U With Me. Operate is one outstanding spin and now this just keeps the party going. I find strength in you. I found love in you. Don't keep me guessing sweetheart. It's a question I have to ask and ASTR is asking for me baby. R U With Me? Two are better than one and I won't kiss and tell. It's a question baby. Just let me know.

Ball Park Music

Ball Park Music - Surrender

"Give in if it makes you feel better"

Do you know Surrender? Not when you give up but this spin by Ball Park Music. It's wonderful. It's been around a while but it just blew in over here and I'm loving it. Australia sure does turn out some hot spins. It's not just koalas and kangaroos down there it's amazing groups like Ball Park Music. What a strong indie spin this is. I can hear it down at the pub as you ask for night of a little slap and tickle. Sure I might, who am I kidding, I'll Surrender baby.

Wolf Alice

Wolf Alice - Blush

"Don't chicken out, it's all good"

Wolf Alice is such a sweet find that I have to share another spin with you. I fell hard for Bros and now Blush is spinning me bad. Such raw power, such beautiful lyrics and I'm bought and sold on this group. It's a dream ride on a fluffy cloud, then a native dance by the fire and these guys got that something something. I'm just so very happy that they came out to play. "Punch drunk, dumb struck, happy happy" is my new mantra.

Vaults

Vaults - Cry No More

"I don't want to die no more"

Bells baby, I hear bells a ringin' and this is just bliss I tell you. Cry No More takes you for a spin and I'm lovin' the bells baby. Don't cry sweetheart. It was. That's enough. It might hurt now but it won't hurt forever. I like to say once you know love you will no how to get back there again someday. Like a destination, once you know the path, you'll find that bread crumb trail when you walk there with another. Until then let's listen to the bells and Cry No More. Bells baby.

Little Daylight

Little Daylight - Restart

"Show you want it feels like"

Little Daylight ROCKS! They sparkle with Glitter & Gold, they enchant with OverdoseName In Lights is phenomenal and this Restart is absolutely wonderful. Saturday night all dressed up and out looking for trouble this spin is cranked up and screaming for us to live it up. Ready to do some jumpin'.  Let's laugh as we turn it around and live it up. What fun this has been I don't want it to stop. Thanks for a great summer Little Daylight. Why I think you sound like 2013.

Taped Rai

Taped Rai - Shadow of the Sun

"No more waiting, times are changing and there something coming on"

I'm obsessed with this song. I've posted the acoustic version back in July, you can hear that here, but I needed to post this one again. I needed it. I needed to hear it. I needed you to hear it. I love how a song can climb in your head and make it self at home. When it all seems to heavy. When the light can't seem to get in and the darkness takes up to much space in my mind I let Taped Rai spin. I know it's going to be ok. I guess I just need to jump more. Thanks Taped Rai for this wonderful spin. Now release an album will ya'.

Amason

Amason - Went To War

"I'm not running, I'm not failing nor am I evading"

Sometimes there's nothing better than a duet. Amason does it right with Went To War. I don't want to fight about it. I don't want to hear mean words come out of that sweet mouth that I love to kiss. Why does it have to be war? Why can't we have thumb peace? I am war'd out and I want out troupes to come home. I want to be surprise by your return. I want to be reminded that we loved each other once. War and love seem like the same thing sometimes and I don't like it. I do like this spin though. Give them hell Amason.

London Grammar

London Grammar - Hey Now (MITS Radio Mix)

"Letters burning by my bed for you. Hey now, I can feel my instincts here for you, hey now"

Any day with London Grammar is a good day. The band is unbelievably hot and they just keep getting better. I could spin with them all day, everyday. This re-mix just makes it a little bit more breathtaking. They must have some deal with the angels to keep hitting amazing like they have been. Strong and Wasting All My Young Years are spins from the heavens, Help Me Lose My Mind is unbelievable and Hey Now is pure love. It's gonna be a good day.

Goldroom

Goldroom - Embrace

"I could never run away"

Here you go. Take a ride on this spin. Goldroom has done it again. A little space age, a little electro pop and a grove that will get you up and moving. I hear your trying to study and need to wake up. Well here you go sweetheart. This will wake you up and everyone around you as well. Feel that beat its calling you. Come jump baby. Come get that blood pumpin' and then I will leave you alone. Don't miss out on the finer things around us. Embrace is definitely one of life's fine things. Come on baby, jump.

Hayden

Hayden - Blurry Nights

"Stay home most of time, thinking of ways to rhyme, while dreaming your dreams"

This one is nicely done. Blurry Nights is a perfect song for a rainy afternoon with a stew on the cooker and some spins keeping you company. Will you sit with me under a warm blanket snuggling up with some Hayden? You keep me warm and I try not to tickle you as we sip some coffee and dream of this life together. Your hands are cold, let me hold them and count the blessings that brought you into my life. Blurry Nights is a perfect spin to hold each other and thank the rain for bringing us together.

The 1975

The 1975 - Chocolate

"Well I think we better go, seriously better go, said it's better than hanging on"

Now I've been enjoying The 1975 for a while now and they have an album that just won't stop givin'. I like that in a band. Sex is the spin that, I have to admit, I like the best, Falling For You is a kinder gentler 1975 and this Chocolate is a smooth as silk. Doesn't this spin make you want to dance? Come now everyone looks like a fool. Come jump with me and we will jump the night away along with some Chocolate. I can't wait to see what The 1975 drops next? They are hot!

Lord Huron

Lord Huron - Brother

"How long have I known you, brother, hundred of lives, thousands of years"

Have you heard this one yet! Brother by Lord Huron is a wonderful spin from an unbelievable group. I wish I could make it better for you. I wish for you the best that this life has to offer. May you find what your looking for and may it be as wonderful as you are my brother. I'd take that bullet for you if I could. Man, I want to show you that it doesn't have to be like that. You can find happiness, joy and peace just not where you've been looking. I can't fathom the hole in your heart that you felt the need to fill it with all of that crap. Walk with me brother, walk away from the pain, walk into the bliss and know that simply breathing in and out it is enough. "I stand beside you, brother, with you till the end"

Au Revoir Simone

Au Revoir Simone - Tell Me (Clock Opera Re-mix)

"We can wake from the scenes we're all dreaming"

Sometimes a re-mix can brighten up a song and give it a shine. This one is great for the tread mill at the gym. It starts and just keeps going. Who needs a breathe when we are running for our lives. Au Revior Simone has been spinning out some pretty great tunes and this re-mix by Clock Opera is just what I need today to get me going. Like a good cup of coffee this spin has "good morning world" all over it.

Family Of The Year

Family Of The Year - Buried

"Of course I hope we live forever, get happy and can grow together, never ever have to say goodbye"

Time for something "happier then hell" and Family Of The Year does that and more with Buried. You'd think this would be sad or something dark with a tittle like Buried. But it's not, it's a happy little diddy about life more than anything else. I swear it starts off like a down home commercial for ranch dressing but then they sing. For me it's about friends and family sticking together even in the after life. Binds that hold us together and last forever, oh and a guitar. Thank you for being my friend and spinning these tunes with me. I hope we "never have to say goodbye."

Indiana

Indiana - Bound

"I treasure my scars"

She seems so innocent. Indiana is a new artist and I am completely blown away by this spin. It's that one relationship that you knew wasn't good for you or for anyone. But, you could not stop. You had to see where it went and how it would end. You knew it would end bad but still you had to go there. You hoped against all hope that it wouldn't be as bad as you knew it would be and, of course, it was worse then you could have imagined. Was it control? Was it desire? Good thing this is just a song and not that hell you rejoiced in for too long. Not sure if it's regret this spins makes me feel. I guess I'm just glad I can still feel at all after this one.

Ásgeir

Ásgeir - Torrent

"Come my friend, sit with me"

I'm not sure if it's proper to keep posting Ásgeir but he just released Torrent and I love it. Just like  King And Cross and Lupin Intrigue this is AMAZING! I love the beautiful piano, the demanding rhythm and the heavenly lyrics. I just read that on October 28th we get a full album. Can you guess what I'll be doing that day? This has been such a fun year filled with fantastic new music and Ásgeir is definitely at the top of my list. I can't wait to hear the full album. Join me won't you in some Ásgeir love.

Chloe Black

Chloe Black - I Would Never Die For You

"Kill myself in a dream cause it only turns bad"

I'm not one to follow the latest hot series on the boob tube. I'd much rather kick back and find new jams that fill my soul. But having heard this on the show Breaking Bad I had to get to know it better. WOW! This is amazing. Chloe has got some soul and I Would Never Die For You is just a deeply rich in soul spin. I am loving the ladies in music lately. And this unashamed, in your face, take me or leave me spin by Ms Black has got me all happy.

Still Parade

Still Parade - Health

This is just lovely. What a wonderful spin Health is by Still Parade. It's, Friday out on the town, with your best girl, and she reaches over to grab your hand, as your driving up a mountain, good. Ok, thats a bit of an extended metaphor but what can I say I like this spin. It's so dreamy with its simple beat, it's electric pop and its angelic vocals. I really have no idea what he is singing. I hope it's not anything bad because such a sweet tune needs first date, first kiss, can I hold your hand, lyrics to go along with this beautiful spin. Ahhhh. I think I did it again.

Ásgeir

Ásgeir - King And Cross

"Now is the time"

What is going on over there in Iceland? I have always loved Björk, Sigur Rós is amazing and the solo album by Jónsi has been a treasure this year. Now we have Ásgeir and I am just loving this. There is something magical in the water over there and I want to taste it. Well if I can't taste it at least I can hear the magic with spins like King And Cross. And if you haven't yet heard Ásgeir's Lupin Intrigue you need to go find it. Check it out Here. You just need too. What a joy it has been to have found Ásgeir who is sure to delight you as much as he has me.

Radical Face

Radical Face - We're on Our Way

"you never thought you would be but don't you fret, and don't you mind the only constant is change"

I LOVE Radical Face. I have a great affection for one guy playing all the instruments, singing all the parts and putting together great music. This is just one of many groups that are in fact just one guy in a studio putting out fantastic spins. I am really looking forward to October 22nd when the third album in their three album series will be released. I have great expectations that it will be as wonderful as the last two albums have been. It's been such a fun ride and I can't wait to see where we end up in the end. In the mean time I guess I will just have to spin this again and again. I'm sure I will be sharing the new stuff once it's out.

Wildcat! Wildcat!

Wildcat! Wildcat! - Garden Grays

"Lay it all on the table, don't carry it away"

I should look to see if there is more to learn about this band and for that matter most of the bands I post here on My Noise Spinning. However, that just seems like work to me. I would rather kick back with a cocktail, turn on some tunes and have them spin me for awhile. You know, just see what come in when your sitting by the window and the breeze blows by with a tune stopping by to say hi. It's not an evolved theory of music blogs but it has brought me a wide variety of fantastic music. Garden Grays is one of those songs that blew in and I'm so happy it stayed. It's fun, it's a free spirit of a spin and what a great gift it has been to just show up out of no where. I think I need to find that repeat button.

Stay Bless

Stay Bless - Always

"You were always there"

Sometimes you hear a song and it connects with you in a way you can't explain. This song Always by Stay Bless is one of those songs for me. I find the story of the song beautiful. Maybe it's having loved to much and to often. I wish I was able to thank you for the time and then walk with my head high in to the sunset. It seems to me as if that is what's happening here. I guess no matter how much time passes I can still see your smile, hear your laugh and even if I tried to walk away I will Always remember your intoxicating smell. I guess that's what he means by Always.

The Acid

The Acid - Fame

"You want it, you want it"

Is it the feeling of wanting again? Is it that reaching out for something that gets me with this spin? I want to know what he's saying. I want to know what he's wanting. Sure it's a spin called Fame but there is so much more to it than that simple word. It's in that driving beat. It's in that electric sound. It's that wanting that catches me, holds me and teases me when I hear this spin. Lets dance a dream with this group from down under and see if they will show us how to want it with a song.

Pacific Air

Pacific Air - Move

"When they told me to be, what I think I should be"

In such a short time Pacific Air has become an old friend. Like you, I think of them and I smile. Like you, they have a place in my heart. I don't care what they call themselves, Ko Ko or whatever, they have a unique sound that will always be pure and wonderful. The names can change but that sound will still remain the same. I hear there distinctive sound and I want to dance to what are the most beautiful spins this year. Float is amazing, Lose My Mind is fantastic and Move is just another morsel of pure love. Like a thirsty man I drink life from this collection of songs. Please join me for another toast to Pacific Air.

Let's Buy Happiness

Let's Buy Happiness - Run

"You run run run away from it"

Here we have angels singing to us. This is what angels sound like when they sing. Let's Buy Happiness is spinning us into a world so lovely and wonderful how could I not feature them. Don't be scared. Don't hide from what the world has to show you. This is not a song, it's a dare not to run from the life in front of you and to rejoice in its beauty. Here the angels are singing to us as we find our way down this crazy path of life. Run is such a beautiful spin I can only hope you hear the warning and take them up on the dare.

Big Data

Big Data - Dangerous

"It's like they know I'm looking from the outside"

Sometimes you just "gotta" let the music spin. Sometimes you have to find that beat, that sound, that groove and Big Data has what we are looking for. They make it sound so simple and yet this spin is larger than life. It's a warning that we need to follow or we will be missing out on something big. That bass it drives the spin, those lyrics speak to my soul, and together this spin is as infectious as your smile. Smile for me baby. It's Dangerous.

Tears for Fears

Tears for Fears - Ready to Start (Arcade Fire cover)

"Now you're knocking at my door, saying please come out with us tonight"

Tears for Fears baby! I love this band! 18 and young, Tears for Fears was the soundtrack to my life. Mad world is a timeless tune that if you haven't heard it you need to go find it. I'll wait. (Me waiting) Did you hear that? WOW huh. I'm hearing that they will be releasing some new material and that makes me a happy boy. If the new stuff is as wonderful as this Arcade Fire cover we are in for a real treat. I like treats. Maybe they can be the soundtrack to your life like they were to mine. You could be so lucky because they are Ready to Start the spin again.

Karl X Johan - Never Leave Me

"A rolling heart, since I turned away, I come forth, till I can't pretend"

Can you hear it? Can you feel that beat? Karl X Johan is calling and we can't miss this call. Another dance and then maybe we can go. I don't want it to stop. I just want to see you laugh as we jump to this one. Never Leave Me is so fun and asks us to stay up all night. We just need a cabana and another cocktail then lets hit the floor with abandon and then we can forget everything but each other as the sweat drips and the hearts pound. Are you with me on this spin?

Young Galaxy

Young Galaxy - Pretty Boy

"I don't care if the disbelievers don't understand. You're my pretty boy, always"

Having featured Young Galaxy from the beginning of this blogs journey I felt compelled to bring them back for another spin after just featuring Crying My Heart Out. This, this is what it's all about for me. The song has heart, it's filled with great emotion, and tells a story I think you will find deeply moving. Tell me a story of love. Tell me a story of compassion. Remind me that we are in this together and that you will be there for me when I need you. I will do the same for you my dear. You're not alone if you have Young Galaxy singing Pretty Boy to you.

Seekae

Seekae - Another

"Falling from my horse, the view could not be clearer"

I've been asked to share my opinions about the music I feature here on My Noise Spinning so here it goes. I can't say I know much about Seekae. I do know that this song moves me and I so want you to hear this. It's deep in sound, rich in lyrics and unbelievable wonderful. It takes you for a ride from the beginning and doesn't set you down till its finished with you. It's ride in the dark holding on to the one you love. I look forward to hearing more from them, if it's as good as Another, I'm sure it's going to be a passionate relationship. So grab your honey and hold on while Seekae brings you closer together.
